Statement: My friend Sophia came to me with the idea of Sailor Moon inspired earrings using an amethyst point (which I drilled through) for our friend Ivan and this is what it evolved to. Since he’s a Pisces, I made the water element symbol 3-dimensional and flipped it upside down to hold the amethyst beads, stars and moon I sketched and sawed out from brass and silver- all to mimic the night sky. He’s also in the process of switching from silver to gold jewellery, so I included both colours so that he could make that transition easier.
