Statement: When I realized that this amethyst had the perfect concave surface to fit the curve of one’s finger, I knew I had to turn it into a ring. I tried to mimic the textured patterns visible in the areas of the rough stone through the patina of the copper band which aligns with the gray banding in the stone. Sitting directly on the wearer’s finger, one is able to physically feel connected the amethyst with energies amplified through the conjunction with copper.
